Fantasy, Retelling & mystery Author

Mylee J. Miller

Mylee J. Miller is an American freelance editor and author of fantasy, retelling, and mystery novels. Inspired by the stories she grew up listening to at her bedside, alongside the disabilities she experiences, she hopes to bring more representation from the marginalized communities she's part of into the fiction literary sphere. Addicted to all things epic, dark, and emotional, most of her projects include characters with big flaws and bigger hearts, with themes that unravel the idea of what it truly means to persevere against terrible odds.Mylee aims to be a self-published and traditionally published author. She's best known for masterminding the twice-annual literary pitch event entitled #PosterPit, creating the literary-focused podcast Books & Beyond, obsessing over books she's recently devoured, and cooking a mean Italian Sausage Tortellini Soup. When not writing, she's screaming along to Imagine Dragons and walking her cats.Mylee is currently pursuing degrees in both History and English in hopes of becoming an editor or agent one day. She's represented for her literary works by Rachel Estep at D4EO Literary Agency.
