Fantasy, Retelling & Contemporary Author
Mylee J. Miller
Mylee J. Miller is an American author of fantasy, retelling, mystery, and contemporary novels. Inspired by the stories she grew up listening to at her bedside, alongside the disabilities she experiences, she hopes to bring more representation from the marginalized communities she's part of into the fiction literary sphere. Addicted to all things epic, dark, and emotional, most of her projects include characters with big flaws and bigger hearts, with themes that unravel the idea of what it truly means to persevere against terrible odds.Mylee aims to be a self-published and traditionally published author. She's best known for masterminding the twice-annual literary pitch event entitled #PosterPit, creating the literary-focused podcast Books & Beyond, obsessing over books she's recently devoured, and cooking a mean Italian Sausage Tortellini Soup.Mylee is currently pursuing degrees in both History and English in hopes of becoming an editor or agent one day.

Underneath The Forest Forsaken
Hester and Malcolm have known for their entire lives that magic keeps their families alive in the isolated, cursed village where they live - and that their magic is survived by sacrifice. But when the other families in their village dwindle until there's nothing left to sacrifice but their own bloodlines, they're pressured to kill each other. On the eve of the day the annual sacrifice is to be made, however, an unexpected solution presents itself: a sentient maze, a bargain with a God, and the overgrown undead - either their ticket to salvation, or the impending catalyst to their ruination.
